A fourth generation hotelier, Steve Post founded Amber Hotel Company in 1998. With over thirty years of experience in the hospitality industry, Mr. Post's hands-on knowledge has guided Amber from the start. In the almost twenty years since its creation, Amber Hotel Company has grown into the largest and most successful hotel brokerage company on the West Coast, boasting transactions with a market value of over one billion dollars. Previous to the founding of Amber, Mr. Post has held a diverse array of positions in the hospitality industry. He has owned, operated and managed hotels. Mr. Post held numerous positions including Director of Sales and Marketing, Director of Food & Beverage, and Controller for several nationally recognized hotel companies. His astute interest and understanding of all aspects of the hotel experience is one of the critical factors driving Amber's success. Additionally important to Amber's success has been Mr. Post's value driven philosophy. He understands that business is about positive relationships. Lending his knowledge and experience to the industry, Mr. Post has been a noted guest lecturer at industry events and a technical business adviser to business graduate students. He and Amber are members of numerous hospitality associations and an active sponsor of annual hospitality events across the nation. Mr. Post attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he studied Business and Economics. He holds a brokers license in California, Arizona, Texas, Washington, Idaho and Colorado. He is married with three children and is actively involved in his community in a number of volunteer capacities.
