Chuck joined Amber in January 2010 after a very successful 20 year career with Brown Hotel Group, a leading hotel brokerage firm.
Prior to joining Brown, Chuck spent three years with the Charles Dunn Company, a Los Angeles based commercial real estate firm, specializing in hotel investments. He began his hotel career in 1971 with Hyatt International Corporation, based in Chicago. His 14 year tenure with the company included management assignments in Latin America, the Caribbean and the Far East, in addition to his corporate role as Vice President Human Resources in Hyatt's Chicago headquarters. Upon returning to California in 1985, Chuck was the opening General Manager of the Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach Resort in Oxnard, a $40 million dollar luxury, all-suite beach front property.
During his tenure at Brown, Chuck participated in over 100 hotel/motel transactions. As an associate member of Hotel Brokers International (HBI), Chuck was honored as "Top Salesman Mountain Pacific Region" in 1994, 1995, 1998, 2004 and 2006. Chuck was also recognized for his individual sales volume in 1995, 1998, 2003, 2004 and 2006. Chuck was further honored by HBI with the prestigious "Salesman of the Year" Award for 2002 and 2003.
Raised in Los Angeles, California, Chuck graduated from California State University Northridge with a degree in Business Administration – Finance. He and his wife, Shirley, have resided in Westlake Village since 1985.
