David joined Amber Hotel Company in October of 2001. He began his career as a Certified Public Accountant for a large international accounting firm and is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He was involved in several high technology ventures prior to joining Amber Hotel Company. David holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University and a Masters of Business Administration Degree in Accounting and Financing from from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University.

David and his wife Jan, a commercial illustrator, reside in Woodland Hills, California.

David and Jan have two teenage children, a son and a daughter, both of whom share their parent's love of sports. Their son plays college baseball. Their daughter plays high school softball and competes nationally in horseback based vaulting. David has coached soccer, basketball and high school baseball. Currently he runs and hikes with his wife in the Santa Monica Mountains.
